Fake eye doctors are known to roam from one healthcare center, church, community, or school to another, endangering the lives and vision of citizens [1].

These deceptive entities offer faulty spectacle and drug prescriptions without proper treatment follow-up, putting vulnerable individuals at risk [1].
The NOA’s mission is to expose these charades and ensure that people receive genuine, life-changing eye care [1].
Collaboration and Support:
The NOA is calling on the Edo State Primary Health Care Development Agency to employ more optometrists, as primary eye care falls within primary health care and having optometrists in primary health centers would help reduce blindness in the state [1].
